Day 1: Arrival Day to Marrakesh

Upon your arrival at Marrakesh Menara Airport, you’ll be warmly greeted by our representative   and transferred to your hotel.

Day 2: City Tour in Marrakesh

After breakfast, start the exotique experience of Marrakesh. a city tour in Marrakesh to Immerse yourself in the vibrant atmosphere of this captivating city. There, you visit Jemaa el-Fna Square, filled with storytellers, musicians, and food vendors offering a memorable experience. Then, visit the magnificent Koutoubia Mosque, the Bahia Palace, the beautiful Ben Youssef Madrassa, and the surrounding Souq.

Day 3: Marrakesh – Ait Ben Haddou – Ouarzazate – Dadès Valley

Here, the road journey begins!! After breakfast, you start you trip to Dadès Valley with its dramatic landscapes. On the way, you will have your first stop at the High Atlas Mountains via the Tizi n’Tichka Pass, with its admiring and breathtaking views along the way. Then, you have a second stop at the UNESCO World Heritage site of Ait Ben Haddou, where it is known for its striking architecture and its appearance in many movies. There, you can capture some pictures for a vivid memory of the magnificent Morocco. Later, drive to Ouarzazate or as locally known for “Hollywood of Morocco” briefly in the south of Atlas Mountains. There many movies took a place and filmed such as, the Mummy, Gladiator, the temptation of the Christ and other movies. After a brief stop, you continue the drive to Skoura Oasis, and Valley of Roses with its magnificent views on the Rocky Mountains reaching the Dadès Valley. there, a dinner is prepared for you after you check in.  Expected drive for this day is 5 hours, with different stops to both relax and capture some pictures.

Day 4: Dadès Valley – Todgha Gorges – Merzouga

After spending the night in the fascinating Dadès Valley, enjoy your breakfast and departure to Merzouga desert via Todgha gorges. Today is the desert experience, where first you have the chance to explore the dramatic Todgha Gorges, where towering canyon walls reach heights of 300 meters. An amazing site near Erfoud, where you can take a leisurely stroll along the riverbank and enjoy the tranquility of this natural wonder. Spend some time there, and continue to Erfoud, a famous town and oasis where the Prince of Persia has been filed in addition to other movies. There, a 4X4 Jeep will pick you up to Merzouga desert. As soon as we arrive Merzuoga (30-minutes’ drive from Erfoud), you have the chance to enjoy the view of the golden sands and a Camel Ride through the desert will be arranged to accompany you to the camp for unforgettable night under the stars and get ready for a savor a traditional dinner accompanied by Berber music around the campfire and spend the night there.

Day 5: Merzouga – Ziz Valley – Midelt

Enjoy your breakfast and spend sometimes in Merzouga before starting the drive to Midelt. On the way, you have a stop in Ziz Valley with breathtaking landscapes of limestone cliffs, green spots of Palma, and Mountains. By that, you will be crossing the middle Atlas Mountains reaching Midlet and spending the night there. For today, the expected drive will be 3 hours, with some stops on the way for a moment of serenity, tranquility, and taking some pictures.

Day 6: Midelt – Azrou – Ifrane – Fez

After relaxing and spending a quite night in Midelt, you drive to Azrou ( 2hours drive), there you can have the chance to see the Cedar Forests and the Barbary Macaques, spend some time there. Later, continue the drive to reach Ifran, or as locally called ‘ the Switzerland of Morocco’, a charm town with amazing waterfalls and the Park La Prairie, explore the town for some time. Late evening, you arrive Fez, check in and relax for an exciting day the next morning.

Day 7: Guided Tour of Fez

Today is a journey of History! Get ready to dive in the history of the cultural capital of Morocco, FEZ. A guided tour is prepared to take you through the ancient Medina, one of the most important sites of the UNESCO heritage of Morocco. Discover the narrow alleys and the colourful Souks.

The tour is not yet done, visit the iconic and the main landmarks of Fez, Al Quaraouiyine Mosque ( inside the one of the most historical universities in the world), the Bou Inania Madrasa, and the tanneries. Spend the afternoon exploring more hidden gems, such as the Andalusian Quarter and artisan workshops, before returning to your riad for an evening at leisure.

Day 8: Fez – Volubilis – Chefchaouen

Today our main destination is Chefchaouen, or the Blue Pearl of Morocco as it is called. Enjoy your breakfast at the hotel and get ready for 3 to 4 hours’ drive with a stop at Roman site of Volubilis. There, you can discover the ancient Roman city boasting remarkably preserved mosaics and ruins. There, you spend some time, and you continue the drive reaching Chefchaouen.

Arrive the hotel, check in and enjoy an evening wandering its blue-painted streets and soaking in the magical atmosphere.

Day 9: Chefchaouen – Tetouan – Tangier

Explore Chefchaouen for some time, visit the quaint shops, serene squares, and vibrant markets. Later, you depart to Tetouan, an important city with its well-know rich Andalusian heritage, and famous for its UNESCO-listed medina. There, you can spend some time, explore the city with its hidden alleys and amazing architecture.

You arrive Tangier in the afternoon, a city well-known for its the cosmopolitan gateway to Africa. There, you have the chance to visit and explore its waterfront, historic Kasbah, and bustling souks. Check into your hotel and enjoy at leisure its dynamic coastal city sights.

Day 10: Tangier – Asilah – Rabat – Casablanca

Today we start a new journey around the coast. Expected drive will be 5hours with many stops. After breakfast, you start the drive reach the artistic town of Asilah, one of the must-visit towns in Morocco, well-known for its artistic style and colorful murals and charming medina. Spend some time there and continue the drive to reach the Capital of Morocco, Rabat. There, you can have the chance to explore and visit the landmarks of the city such as, the Hassan Tower, the Mausoleum of Mohammed V, and the Royal Palace.

We continue the drive, reaching Casablanca, check in, and relax or explore the city on your own.

Day 11: Casablanca–Transfer to Marrakesh

After breakfast, enjoy on your own the city with its famous blend of Moorish style and European art deco. There, you can visit the iconic Hassan II Mosque, a masterpiece of modern Islamic architecture (outside visit only). Or just visit the Medina, with its fascinating Souq. Later, you drive to Marrakesh and spend the night there.

Flights

ME- WONDERS offers tour packages worldwide and welcomes travelers from any country and place. Roundtrip airfare is not included, and we recommend booking your flights when your tour is booked and confirmed.

 

Travel Insurance

Travel insurance is compulsory on all our trips for all travelers from other countries. We require that at minimum to be covered for medical expenses including emergency repatriation. We strongly recommend all travelers to have a policy that also covers personal liability, cancellation, curtailment and loss of luggage or personal effects in international trips.

 

Pick up/drop off   from/to Marrakesh Menara Airport

Pick up: When you arrive at Marrakesh Menara International Airport, our helpful ME-WONDERS representative meets you and helps you at the arrival Hall. A private vehicle to your hotel will be arranged, it takes around 17 minutes. Your ME-WONDERS representative will take you to the place where your vehicle is.

Drop off: ME-WONDERS will arrange a transfer to the airport for you.

Starting point for all Morocco’ tours is Marrakesh Menara Airport. Your ME-WONDERS representative will meet you at the arrival Hall.

 Check-in / Check-out time

Hotel check-in time is usually at 2:00 pm and check-out time is before 12.00 pm. If you arrive early on the day or leave in the evening, hotels may be able to accommodate your luggage while you have other plans. More information will be provided by the front desk of the hotel.

Money Exchange

There are many offices everywhere in Morocco. ATMs are available within main cities in Morocco. MasterCard and Visa are generally accepted. We recommend contacting your bank before you travel.

 

Climate

Morocco has a four-season climate –hot in the summer without much rain, winter turning wet and humid with milder conditions, and the shoulder seasons of autumn and spring acting as usual, with warm to mild temperature. This depends on the city and the area you are visiting. The average temperature as follows:

  1. Summer: 99°F-68°F, c (37°-20°)
  2. Autumn: 83°F-64°F, c (28°-18°)
  3. Winter: 86°F-45°F, c (20°-7°)
  4. Spring: 81°F-56°F, c (27°-13°)

 

Language

The native languages in Morocco are Modern Standard Arabic and French. English is widely spoken throughout the country.

Attire in Morocco

Morocco socially acceptable attire is somehow conservative. You will find that shoulders are covered, and clothing is to the knees specially in religiose sites. It is not required outside of mosques and important religious sites.

Safety

We recommend that you review the guidance that your government provides for the latest information regarding your trip and the suggestions that they provide on how to best be prepared and travel with caution.

Electricity

Please note that the voltage used in Morocco is 220 volts.
