Fes, known as the spiritual heart of Morocco, invites you to wander through the labyrinthine alleyways of its ancient medina, a UNESCO World Heritage site. Marvel at the exquisite craftsmanship of the Bou Inania Madrasa and witness the age-old art of leather tanning in the famous Chouara Tannery. Here, you can immerse yourself in the stories of artisans who have been perfecting their crafts for generations.
Day 1: Arrival Day to Marrakesh
Upon your arrival at Marrakesh Menara Airport, you’ll be warmly greeted by our representative and transferred to your hotel.
Day 2: City Tour in Marrakesh
Immerse yourself in the vibrant atmosphere of this captivating city. Visit the Jemaa el-Fna Square, filled with storytellers, musicians, and food vendors offering a memorable experience. Then, visit the magnificent Koutoubia Mosque (from the outside) and the Bahia Palace, the beautiful Ben Youssef Madrassa, and the surrounding Souq.
Day 3: Marrakesh – Ait Ben Haddou – Ouarzazate – Dadès Valley
After breakfast, embark on a scenic journey through the High Atlas Mountains via the Tizi n’Tichka Pass, admiring breathtaking views along the way. Visit the UNESCO World Heritage site of Ait Ben Haddou, an iconic kasbah known for its striking architecture and its appearance in many films. Continue to Ouarzazate, often called the “Hollywood of Morocco,” for a brief stop. Proceed through the stunning Skoura Oasis and the Valley of Roses before reaching the dramatic landscapes of Dadès Valley. Dinner and overnight in a charming kasbah-style hotel nestled amidst the rugged cliffs.
Day 4: Dadès Valley – Todgha Gorges – Merzouga
Breakfast at your hotel and departure to Merzouga desert via Todgha gorges. Today, explore the dramatic Todgha Gorges, where towering canyon walls reach heights of 300 meters. Take a leisurely stroll along the riverbank and enjoy the tranquility of this natural wonder.
Then continue to Erfoud from where you will go by 4X4 Jeep to Merzouga desert. As the golden sands come into view, prepare for a magical camel ride to your desert camp, where you’ll experience an unforgettable night under the stars. Savor a traditional dinner accompanied by Berber music around the campfire.
Day 5: Merzouga – Ziz Valley – Midelt
Wake up early and enjoy the desert of Merzouga, to witness a stunning desert sunrise before enjoying breakfast at the camp. In the afternoon, drive to Travel through the lush Ziz Valley, famous for its date palms, and cross the dramatic Middle Atlas Mountains arriving Midlet. Overnight in Midelt
Day 6: Midelt – Azrou – Ifrane – Fez
En route to Fez, stop in the cedar forests near Azrou to see the playful Barbary macaques, then continue to Ifrane, known as “Morocco’s Switzerland” for its European-style charm. Arrive in Fez in the evening and check into your riad in the heart of the medina.
Day 7: Guided Tour of Fez
Dive into the rich history of Fez, Morocco’s spiritual and cultural capital, with a guided tour of its ancient medina, a UNESCO World Heritage site. Wander through narrow alleys lined with colorful souks and visit iconic landmarks such as the Al Quaraouiyine Mosque, the Bou Inania Madrasa, and the tanneries.
Pause for a delicious lunch at a traditional restaurant in the medina (optional). Spend the afternoon exploring more hidden gems, such as the Andalusian Quarter and artisan workshops, before returning to your riad for an evening at leisure.
Day 8: Fez – Volubilis – Chefchaouen
Breakfast at your hotel and departure to Chefchaouen, the bleu city of Morocco via the Roman site of Volubilis.
On the way, a stop to visit Volubilis, an ancient Roman city boasting remarkably preserved mosaics and ruins. After exploring, travel to Chefchaouen, the “Blue Pearl” of Morocco. Enjoy an evening wandering its blue-painted streets and soaking in the magical atmosphere.
Day 9: Chefchaouen – Tetouan – Tangier
Spend the morning leisurely exploring Chefchaouen, visiting its quaint shops, serene squares, and
vibrant markets. Depart for Tetouan, a city with a rich Andalusian heritage, where you’ll have time to visit its UNESCO-listed medina.
Arrive in Tangier, the cosmopolitan gateway to Africa, in the afternoon. Explore its waterfront, historic Kasbah, and bustling souks. Check into your hotel and enjoy dinner at leisure in this dynamic coastal city.
Day 10: Tangier – Asilah – Rabat – Casablanca
Leave Tangier for the artistic town of Asilah, known for its colorful murals and charming medina. Stroll along its scenic ramparts before continuing to Rabat, Morocco’s capital. Here, visit landmarks like the Hassan Tower, the Mausoleum of Mohammed V, and the Royal Palace.
Day 11: Casablanca–Transfer to Marrakesh
After breakfast, enjoy on your own the city, you can visit the iconic Hassan II Mosque, a masterpiece of modern Islamic architecture (outside visit only). Or just visit the Medina, with its fascinating Souq.
In the afternoon transfer from Casablanca to Marrakesh.
Day 12: Drop Off to Airport
Check out from hotel, and drive To Marrakesh Airport.
