Day 1: Arrival Day/ Transfer to Negombo
Upon your arrival at Colombo Bandaranaike International Airport, you’ll be warmly greeted by our representative and transferred to Negombo. There, you will check in into your hotel and have time to enjoy the beach.

Day 2: Negombo-Dambulla-Sigiriya
Enjoy your delicious breakfast in the hotel before we start our drive to Sigiriya. Our first stop will be the magnificent Dambulla Caves with its amazing painted wall and stone Buddha statue. Enjoy exploring its history and spirituality of this amazing site for 2hrs, then continue to Sigiriya, to check in and visit after the Buddhist monastery of Pidurangala.

Day 3: Sigiriya Rock-Village Tour
An active day for exploring and hiking. Today you will have an amazing experience to explore the incredible Sigiriya Rock. There you will see the ruins of a grand palace a landmark in Sri Lankan history. Explore and see the ancient wall paintings, the huge stone lion paws, and other fascinating elements. As soon as we finish exploring the Rock, we will move to our next experience “Hiriwaduna”, a tour through the village and try the local Bullock cart ride.

Day 4: Sigiriya-Matale-Kandy
Today, you will be reaching Kandy! A visit to the amazing Spice Garden and exploring the spices with all senses! with optional activity, try the local cuisine in Matale, where you can cook and use the spices and have a savior meal. Then, a transfer to Kandy to visit the temple of the tooth, check into your hotel. In the evening enjoy the Cultural show and Gem Museum.

Day 5: Kandy-Nuwara Eliya-Ella
After Breakfast, you check-out from the hotel and Transfer to the train station and Board, the train from Kandy to Nanu Oya (Nuwara Eliya) on Availability, 09:30 Train or earlier time. on the way you will have the full seen of the amazing nature of Kany with its amazing waterfalls and green nature.
On arrival, you will visit the Tea Plantation and Waterfalls.

Day 6: Free Day in Ella
Enjoy Ella on your own and have the time for yourself to relax and chill or to explore the city by yourself.

Today is a hike adventure between the Little Adam’s Peak and the Nine Arch Bridge. You spend few hours there exploring and later you head to Udawalawe National Park, to see the elephants and other exotic animals in the park.

Day 8: Udawalawe-Mirissa
Enjoy your breakfast and spend some time wandering around the park exploring the nature and interacting with the animals. Later, you will be departed to Mirissa and enjoy a free time near the beach as soon as you check into your hotel.

Flights
ME- WONDERS offers tour packages worldwide and welcomes travelers from any country and place. Roundtrip airfare is not included, and we recommend booking your flights when your tour is booked and confirmed.
Travel Insurance
Travel insurance is compulsory on all our trips for all travelers from other countries. We require that at minimum to be covered for medical expenses including emergency repatriation. We strongly recommend all travelers to have a policy that also covers personal liability, cancellation, curtailment and loss of luggage or personal effects in international trips.
Pick up/drop off from/to Colombo Bandaranaike International Airport
Pick up: When you arrive at Colombo Bandaranaike International Airport, our helpful ME-WONDERS representative meets you and helps you at the arrival Hall. A private vehicle to your hotel will be arranged, it takes around 40 minutes. Your ME-WONDERS representative will take you to the place where your vehicle is.
Drop off: ME-WONDERS offers a transfer to the airport,. Your ME-WONDERS will arrange this for you and provide you further details.
Starting point; Colombo
Starting point for all Sri Lanka tours is Colombo Bandaranaike International Airport Menara Airport. Your ME-WONDERS representative will meet you at the arrival Hall.

Our prices are based on double bedrooms (twin-shared or king sized bed). If you have any requests, please specify at the time of booking.

Check-in / Check-out time
Hotel check-in time is usually at 2:00 pm and check-out time is before 12.00 pm. If you arrive early on the day or leave in the evening, hotels may be able to accommodate your luggage while you have other plans. More information will be provided by the front desk of the hotel.

Optional activities are not included in the prices. We encourage our customers to participate in the optional activities. Your ME-WONDERS Tour Leader will share activity details with you throughout the trip.

Money Exchange
There are many offices everywhere in Sri Lanka. ATMs are available within main cities in Sri Lanka. MasterCard and Visa are generally accepted. We recommend contacting your bank before you travel.
Climate
Sri Lanka has a Two-season climate, the Maha season associated with the northeast monsoon (September – March) and the Yala season associated with the southwest monsoon (May – August). This depends on the city and the area you are visiting. The average temperature as follows:
- March to May: 77°F-90°F, c (25°-32°)
- June to August: 77°F-88°F, c (25°-30°)
- September to November: 76°F-88°F, c (24°-30°)
- December to February: 75°F-89°F, c (23°-31°)
Language
The native languages in Sri Lanka are Sinhala and Tamil. English can be spoken in some areas and cities in the country.
Attire in Sri Lanka
Sri Lanka socially acceptable attire is somehow decent. You will find that shoulders are covered, and clothing is to the knees specially in religiose sites.
Safety
We recommend that you review the guidance that your government provides for the latest information regarding your trip and the suggestions that they provide on how to best be prepared and travel with caution.
Electricity
Please note that the voltage used in Sri Lanka is 230 volts.
