Combo Trip Egypt and Jordan, 12days/11 nights to spend on visiting the magnificent sites of Egypt and the most marvelous sites of Jordan. Eat, Swim, discover and live the adventure.

Is This Trip Right for You?
If you are planning to visit Egypt and Jordan for your vacation, then you have to be ready to walk large grounds each day. 3-4 hours of walking is expected regularly, the ground may be uneven so prepare yourself by wearing flat and comfortable shoes. We may often start early in the morning to avoid the traffic rush that is very common in tourist centric places. We will be using different modes of transport like Private vehicle, train, Flights and Felucca trip throughout the journey. Some days we may drive for as long as 4 hours to reach from one site to another. We will stop in between if you need to use cafeterias, toilets and stores
Day 1: Arrival Day to Cairo
ME-WONDERS representative meets and helps you as soon as you arrive in Cairo. They will personally give assistance through the visa and passport control. Your ME-WONDERS representative ensures that you meet your private vehicle pickup to bring you to your hotel. That evening, your ME-WONDERS Tour Leader will meet you for a trip kick-off and introduction where they review the schedule and details.
We encourage all group members to meet before, however if the meeting is missed, your ME-WONDERS Tour Leader will be sure to leave you a note with the details.

Day 2: Great Pyramids of Giza, Sphinx and Saqqara
We will explore the great Pyramid of Giza and discover the grandeur of ancient Egypt. There are panoramic views as we are passing through the dunes which will then lead us to the miraculous Sphinx. After, we will visit Saqqara, which has the oldest pyramid, and the first stone building to exist, which gives us the opportunity to look over the ancient tombs. Â In the evening, Â stop by a Carpet School, Stop by a Papyrus institute before we proceed to the train station to board our twin-berth cabin train to Aswan where you start a new experience.

Day 3: Wake Up! You are in Aswan
Arrive to Aswan in the morning, we will start our day tour by visiting the High Dam and the Philae temple then we go directly to our hotel for check-in and relax, then we make a Felucca tour.

Day 4: Abu Simbel Temples, Nile tour in Felucca
Adventure calls in Aswan city or doing the Optional Activity to Abu Simbel visiting the temples of Ramses and Neferatari that were saved by the UNESCO during the era of construction the High Dam.

Day 5: Luxor Temple
Depart Aswan and head to the ancient Luxor temples, glut of Ancient Egypt’s giant-sized temples and tombs lined with vibrant wall paintings, an open-air museum, while if there are only so many monuments you can cope with. The views of the surroundings are breathtaking.

Day 6: Valley of Kings, Queen of Hatshepsut Temple, Colossi of Memnon, Heading off to Cairo
Start your morning by exploring tombs in the Valley of Kings. Then to Queen Hatshepsut’s temple and the two gigantic statues, Colossi of Memnon. As soon as we are done, Fly back to Cairo.

Day 7: Egyptian Museum, Hanging Church and Bazaars
Visit the Egyptian Museum, one of the most famous filled with treasures and artifacts from the tomb of Tutankhamun. The ancient mummies tell a story, and this is a once in a lifetime place to hear more about Egypt and its history. We will then site see to the hanging church and enjoy the bazaars where there are local goods and souvenirs.

In Amman
This is the arrival day and at 6:00 pm, your ME-Wonders Tour Leader invites you to a welcome meeting in the lobby which is about an hour. We will discuss the trip schedule, activities and details then head off to a group dinner.
If you miss the meeting for any reason your ME-WONDERS Tour Leader will leave you a note with the details and when to meet next morning to start the tour.

Day 9: Amman / Mount Nebo / Dead Sea / Petra
Travel to Madaba -the Queen of Mosaic. There, you will have the chance to relive history. You will be interestingly standing at the spot where Muses one day stood and granted a view over the Promised Land. A panoramic view from Mt Nebo: one of time experience is there for you to enjoy and live a historical déjà vu. Then, we head to the Dead Sea, the lowest point on Earth. This will be the time to float in the Salty water. So lay back, and enjoy reading a newspaper on your unusual couch. Also, you can relax by pools. Later, we move to Wadi Musa to spend the night there.

Day 10: Petra / Wadi Rum
start early in the morning to visit the one but only city with fascinating architecture and sophisticated water systems, titled as one of the Seven Wonders, Petra. enjoy a walk with your tour leader, through the Siq, until you reach the magnificent Treasury, the guiding entrance to the ancient Nabatean city. Not only that, but you will continue into the city, viewing the amphitheaters, caves and tombs. Later, you will have some free time, to explore on your own and feed your wanderlust. Later, we heading to Wadi Rum and spending the night at a desert Bedouin camp, followed by a traditional dinner.

Travel to Egypt during COVID – 19
Your safety is our top priority. Not only do we take extra measures before to ensure the safety of our tour group and staff, but we also continuously keep precautions on our priority list by recommending physical distance, wearing a mask, keeping rooms well ventilated and sanitized, avoiding crowds and close contact, and washing hands regularly. Checking local advice often before traveling to Egypt is highly recommended.
Visa
Most nationalities can obtain visas to Egypt upon arrival. You are responsible for arranging your visa. Please, stay up to date regarding new regulations that may be applied before you travel.
Visa fee is 25 USD or the equivalent to your currency. You will have the option to pay for the visa with US Dollars (USD), the British Pound (GBP) or in Euro’s (EUR). Please note that Egyptian pounds and credit cards are not accepted as payment methods when obtaining your Egyptian entry visa.
Flights
ME- WONDERS offers tour packages worldwide and welcomes travelers from any country and place. Roundtrip airfare is not included, and we recommend booking your flights when your tour is booked and confirmed.

Travel Insurance
Travel insurance is compulsory on all our trips for all travelers from other countries. We require that at minimum to be covered for medical expenses including emergency repatriation and Covid-19 treatments. We strongly recommend all travelers to have a policy that also covers personal liability, cancellation, curtailment and loss of luggage or personal effects in international trips.
Pick up/drop off  from/to Cairo International Airport
Pick up:Â When you arrive at Cairo International Airport, our helpful ME-WONDERS representative meets you and helps you with your visa and passport control. A private vehicle to your hotel will be arranged, it takes between 45 minutes to 1.5 hours depending on traffic conditions. Your ME-WONDERS representative will take you to the place where your vehicle is.
Drop off:Â ME-WONDERS offers a transfer to the airport, if chosen (Drop off) while booking in advance. It will be arranged based on request. Your ME-WONDERS Tour Leader will arrange this for you and provide you further details.
Starting point; Egypt
Starting point for all Egyptian tours is Cairo International Airport. Your ME-WONDERS representative will meet you after you depart your gate, welcome you to Egypt and help assist you throughout the airport for the visa and passport control areas.
Accommodation
Our prices are based on double bedrooms (twin-shared or king sized bed). which means that if you book as a solo traveler, ME-WONDERS will arrange for you to share with a person of the same gender. For couples, we ensure the accommodation is together. If you have any requests, please specify at the time of booking.

We offer an option for Single Travelers, if you book “My Private Room” during booking.  You will have your own single room for Hotel nights and Cruise nights.
Note: ME-WONDERS cannot guarantee single cabinet in Sleeper train nor in Felucca.

Your Tour Leader will show you round attractions such as historic monuments, cultural centers and beauty spots, and provide you with background information to help make the most of your visit.
Transport
We offer a variety of different transportation options based on your tour selection. Our bus, sleeper train, felucca, and cruise ship are all private with air condition. Our flights are public and domestically booked.

Departure Tax
Departure tax is usually included in your air tickets. If you depart from Egypt via Nuweibea’ Port, there is a departure tax of approximately Nine (9) USD.

Egypt’s socially acceptable attire is conservative. You will find that shoulders are covered, and clothing is to the knees. It is not required outside of mosques and important religious sites.

An important Rule

Tipping
We have created a ME-WONDERS pool of tips so that your Tour Leader can take care of this for the group rather than individually. This saves time, room for discrepancies and covers all service assistance. We kindly ask of {$ 6 USD per person / day} which covers all tips for the service providers we encounter throughout. This is collected on the first day of arrival during the introduction and welcome meeting. This does not include the gratuity for your ME-WONDERS Tour Leader. Our suggested amount {$ 6 USD per person / day} and based on the discretion of the customer.

Travel to Jordan during COVID – 19
Stay safe by taking some simple precautions —such as physical distancing, wearing a mask, especially when distancing cannot be maintained, keeping rooms well ventilated, avoiding crowds and close contact, cleaning your hands regularly- and coughing into a bent elbow or tissue. Do it all! Check local advice when you travel to Jordan.
Visa

Pick up- drop of from/to Queen Alia Airport
ME-WONDERS offer a transfer from/to the airport but you should select (Pick Up/Drop Off) in advance. ME-WONDERS driver will be out with a pickup sign at the arrival hall, the last point after you pick your luggage. usually the drive takes between 25 minutes to 1-hour, depending on traffic conditions.
You can get to hotel using official airport taxies which cost around 25 JOD (40 USD). It is better to agree upon the price with the taxi driver before you get into the car.
