Day 1: Arrival Day in Jakarta

This is the arrival day. If you arrive early, feel free to head out and explore Jakarta city to see the local markets and try the street food and more!

Day 2: Jakarta/ Bandung

Experience a guided tour of Jakarta, exploring the historic Batavia district and its colonial landmarks, followed by a leisurely walkthrough Sunda Kelapa Harbour. In the afternoon, journey to Bandung, nestled among volcanic mountains and lush tea plantations. Then enjoy an angklung orchestra performance, featuring traditional tunes played by children with bamboo instruments.

Day 8: Bromo / Malang

Today’s for reaching new heights. Start the day with a trek along the Ancestor Trail to Mt Bromo, then get a chance to hike to the volcano’s crater (and take some pictures!)

Day 10: Bali/ Denpasar/ Ubud

An early morning starts our tour in Denpasar, capital of the exotic island province of Bali, known for its pristine beaches, aura of spirituality and long tradition of the arts. Arrive in Ubud, the island’s cultural center that has inspired painters, sculptors and writers from around the world. View terraced rice paddies, Hindu temples and bubbling rivers on your picturesque drive to the Monkey Forest Sanctuary, a sacred area inhabited by hundreds of long-tailed macaques who have a symbolic place among Balinese Hindu culture. This evening, head to Peliatan Royal Palace, one of the oldest palaces in Ubud. This elaborately designed building. Spend time exploring the palace and the exotic surroundings.

Day 11: Bali Butterfly Park/ Jatiluwih Rice Fields/ Ulun Danu Temple

Visit to Taman Kupu – Kupu Bali (Bali Butterfly Park), one of the largest butterfly parks in Asia. The park is a butterfly and insect conservation facility. Then go to the astonishing Jatiluwih rice fields. This spectacular site of terraced, green paddies is stepped along an entire mountain, from its peak to where it meets the sea. Walk through the fields with a local farmer and learn more about life in this magical green paradise. Later, head into the mountains to the 17th century Ulun Danu Temple Complex, founded by the King of Mengwi and dedicated to the gods of the lakes.

Day 12: Traditional Balinese Village/ Cooking Class

This morning, journey to Penarungan Village, that is located in a remote part of central Bali. Here, gets an insight into rural life and learn about the local culture. Engage in a series of activities that include walking through the village rice fields, making traditional coffee and coconut oil and enjoying Balinese music and dance. In the afternoon, it’s time to refine your culinary skills at a cooking class that introduce you to the fine techniques of Balinese cuisine, demonstrated by a local chef. Afterward for lunch, feast on your own creations.

Day 13: Balinese Ancient Temples

Today you will visit Balinese ancient temples and monuments, tracing the creation of the unique Balinese Hindu religion “Hindu Dharma.” Journey through quaint Balinese villages toward the stunning 10th century Paiguman temple, surrounded by a dense rainforest. In the afternoon, make your way to the Holy Water Temple, known for its holy spring waters where you have the option to shower at the natural spring water.

Day 14: Barong Dance Performance/ Taman Ayun/ Tanah Lot/ Seaside Sanur

Flights

ME- WONDERS offers tour packages worldwide and welcomes travelers from any country and place. Roundtrip airfare is not included, and we recommend booking your flights when your tour is booked and confirmed.

Travel Insurance

Travel insurance is compulsory on all our trips for all travelers from other countries. We require that at minimum to be covered for medical expenses including emergency repatriation. We strongly recommend all travelers to have a policy that also covers personal liability, cancellation, curtailment and loss of luggage or personal effects in international trips.

Pick up/drop off   from/to Indonesia International Airport

Pick up: When you arrive at Indonesia International Airport, our guide meets you and helps you with your visa and passport control. A private vehicle to your hotel will be arranged, it takes between 30 minutes depending on traffic conditions. Your ME-WONDERS representative will take you to the place where your vehicle is.

Drop off: ME-WONDERS offers a transfer to the airport.

Starting point; Indonesia

Starting point for all tours in Indonesia is Indonesia International Airport. Your ME-WONDERS guide will meet you after you depart your gate, welcome you to Indonesia and help assist you throughout the airport for the visa and passport control areas.

Accommodation

Our prices are based on twin-share accommodation. If you have any requests, please specify at the time of booking.

Accommodations of the Indonesia Tours depends on your selection. Either 4-Stars or 5-Stars.

 

Early Arrivals: if you arrive before your trip starts, ME-WONDERS have the options to assure you have a room as soon as you arrive, you can reserve (Extra Pre-nights) in advance.

 

Late Departure: if you want to stay after you trip ends, ME-WONDERS have the options for you to extends your accommodation in the same hotel, you can reserve (Extra Post-nights) in advance.

Hotel check-in time is at 4:00 pm and check-out time is before 12.00 pm. If you arrive early on the day or leave in the evening, hotels may be able to accommodate your luggage while you have other plans. More information will be provided by the front desk of the hotel.
